TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Patients First is now operating its COVID-19 rapid testing site at the Northwood Centre on North Monroe Street due to traffic issues caused at its Mahan Drive location.
According to Patients First, the site officially opened on Tuesday, allowing for more testing to be done with less traffic.
The Northwood site offers rapid testing for coronavirus, with results in about 20 minutes instead of the typical wait of five to seven days.
To reduce the lines, officials say testing at the Northwood site will be done by appointment only. Patients must register onlinehere.
The site is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Patients First says they test both patients who have COVID-19 symptoms and those without symptoms who are worried that they may have been exposed.
