GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Pat Thomas Park boat ramp in Gadsden County will reopen to the public on Friday.
The boat ramp will be accessible each day from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Officials say restrooms and trash cans will be available for boaters and others utilizing the boat ramp.
All other park facilities will remain closed until further notice.
Gadsden County will continue to take measures to ensure the protection of park staff and visitors in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Visitors are required to maintain safe social, physical, and personal distancing in the park per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
While boat ramps are reopening, compliance with social distancing requirements and approved activities will be enforced.
Failure to comply with proper social distancing may result in law enforcement action or park closure.
