TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating after an early morning fire on Monday caused $225,000 worth of damage to a home on Aaron Drive.

At 12:14 a.m. Monday, the Consolidated Dispatch Agency received a call about a possible structure fire located in the 1800 block of Aaron Drive.

Crews from stations 1, 2, 4, and 8 quickly arrived on scene and were met with heavy fire coming from the rear of the single story residential structure.

Firefighters worked into the night to both extinguish the blaze and determined that no one was inside the home when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported on scene, and damages are estimated to be at $225,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time by the Tallahassee Fire Department and State Fire Marshal.
