CRAWFORDVILLE, Fl. (WTXL) - — One person is dead and two others are in critical condition after a car flipped over in Crawfordville.
Troopers said the crash happened at about 10:15pm Friday on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Road. Authorities said 20-year-old Trafton Shiver failed to make a turn and drifted off the roadway, crashing into an open tunnel. The driver then tried to get back on the road when officials said his Jeep Wrangler flipped over. Troopers said Shiver and his passengers, Allen Shiver and were then thrown out of the car.
Jill Shiver, the other passenger, sustained serious injuries from the crash.
Both were transported to the hospital where the driver later died from his injuries.
The passengers remains in critical condition. Troopers aren't yet sure if alcohol was a factor.
