LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — One person is dead after a crash on Blountstown Highway in Leon County.
The crash happened at Blountstown Highway and Whispering Pines Drive. A fatality is being reported in the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol is on scene investigating the cause of the accident. We're hearing reports that the driver, who hasn't been identified, tried to turn into a neighborhood when they lost control and crashed into a steel pole.
The crash isn't having any major impact on traffic flow.
