TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The National Weather Service meteorologists in Tallahassee have assigned preliminary ratings to several tornadoes in southwest Georgia.
A preliminary rating of EF-1 has been assigned to the tornado that moved through and east of Pelham in Mitchell County.
A preliminary rating of EF-1 has been assigned to the tornado that began south of Moultrie in Colquitt County.
The tornado moved eastward to Adel in Cook County to north of Lakeland in Lanier County.
Additional information to follow in the next few days as tornado paths and damage points are analyzed.
