MILLER COUNTY, Ga. — An EF1 tornado touched down in Miller County on Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, an EF1 tornado touched down along Phillipsburg Road north of Colquitt and moved northeastward across the northeast portions of the county.
NWS says there was damage to barns, farm equipment, and trees. They said that winds reach an estimated 110 mph.
The tornado touched down at 9:27 a.m. and lasted until 9:36 a.m.
