LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) — The National Weather Service in Tallahassee confirms that a tornado was spotted near Hahira Wednesday afternoon.
They say the tornado was near Hahira about 9 miles northwest of Valdosta around 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
They say it was moving north around 15 mph.
A tornado warning has been issued in the area until 5:15 PM EDT.
