TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — McDonald’s Restaurants are looking to hire over 200 employees in Tallahassee and more than 17,900 restaurant employees across Florida this summer.

According to company officials, McDonald’s and its independent franchises across North Florida will host a Hiring Day on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at local McDonald’s restaurants.

There are a range of positions available from crew members to managers.

Along with career training, officials say McDonald’s employees are eligible for its Archways to Opportunity, education program, after 90 days and 15 hours a week. That means, if an employee gets hired for the summer, they could be eligible for tuition assistance for their fall college courses.

“By offering restaurant employees the option to further their education paired with skills they learn on the job, we’re supporting their full potential to succeed whether that’s at McDonald’s or beyond,” said Raphael Vazquez, Local McDonald’s Franchise Owner/Operator.
