TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Neighbors helping neighbors.
The non-profit "The Less Fortunate Still Matter" stopped by the Frenchtown area earlier to provide people with a meal.
The item on the menu? Fish and grits.
The Frenchtown area is home to one of the poorest zip codes in the state. The Florida Chamber says nearly half of the children living within that zip code area are below the poverty level.
The food delivery Wednesday aims to help those who need it most.
"Just to see the smile on these people faces its unexplainable, you know it gives me joy that only this situation this atmosphere can give me and I love every minute of it," said Tim Mosely, the founder of The Less Fortunate Still Matter organization.
