THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) — More than 200 jobs are coming to Thomasville.
Walmart hosted the grand opening for their new case-ready facility.
It's part of the company's new Angus beef supply chain. The facility will distribute Angus beef-cuts like steaks and roasts to 500 Walmart stores in the southeast.
"We gave $69 million in local school security grants to keep our classrooms safe," said Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. "And through the Georgia Pathways and Georgia access, we are working hard to lower insurance premiums and healthcare costs to expand accessibility for Georgia families and improve quality and outcomes."
The facility is operated by FPL Foods.
