TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A new restaurant recently opened up in Frenchtown and their owner says he is trying to give the people in Tallahassee healthier food options.
HempLade Cafe is a vegan restaurant that gives healthy alternatives to foods such as pizza, burgers and pastas.
The cafe also sells homemade products that are all plant-based, some including the usage of CBD.
Yudah Weh, owner and manager of HempLade Cafe, talks about what keeps him inspired to make a difference in his community.
"Just wanted to bring a change to the foods and give people a better source of food, a healthy version," said Weh. "Something that is now quote as trending, but that's just something we have been practicing the last seven years is health and wealth."
Weh also says that he plans to continue to help the Tallahassee community and is working on providing food for a homeless shelter this Thanksgiving holiday.
