TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A new Chick-fil-A location on West Tennessee Street is set to open for business on Thursday, August 27.
The new location is located on West Tennessee Street and Stadium Drive (1650 W Tennessee Street), next to the Hub and just two minutes from Doak Campbell Stadium. The location sits right across from another Chick-fil-A at 1775 West Tennessee Street.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Terry Widener as the franchise owner of the newest Chick-fil-A restaurant in Tallahassee.
In addition to Chick-fil-A WTS and Stadium Drive, Widener owns and operates Chick-fil-A West Tennessee Street and Chick-fil-A North Monroe Street in Tallahassee.
Chick-fil-A WTS and Stadium Drive is located at 1650 W Tennessee Street and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Officials say as states begin to ease restrictions on the closure of local businesses, Chick-fil-A restaurants are taking additional time to review operations and ensure there are the necessary precautions in place to protect our Guests and Team Members before fully reopening dining rooms.
In the meantime, Chick-fil-A WTS and Stadium Drive will open with drive-thru, carryout, limited dine-in and curbside pickup.
Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the mobile app and delivery service through DoorDash and Uber Eats.
In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100 Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A WTS and Stadium Drive will be providing free Chick-fil-A meals for a year to 100 local heroes making an impact in Tallahassee.
