TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department has arrested a man in connection to the murder of 28-year-old Johnathan Spooner.
Timothy Floyd, 37, has been arrested for homicide.
Johnathan Spooner's body was found outside a home in the 200 block of Ridge Road on Saturday.
During the investigation, police say an autopsy revealed that Spooner's head had been beaten 7 or 8 times with a hammer like object.
According to court documents, Floyd was arrested Tuesday and is being charged with homicide, illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fraudulent use of a credit card.
A judge denied bond for Floyd during his first court appearance on Wednesday.
