MOULTRIE, Ga. (WTXL) — Even on Thanksgiving, small businesses in Downtown Moultrie opened their doors.
Shops opened up at four on Thursday afternoon, and served the community until the end of the festivities.
Owner of 'Beans and Strings Coffee Shop', says this event has always been special to his family.
"It's just something that we've always been a part of and now being able to be a part of it as an owner downtown is just that much more special," said Andrew Barker, Owner of 'Beans and Strings Coffee Shop.
Barker says more small businesses have been coming to the city of Moultrie.
He believes the support of the community is what makes them so successful.
