MOUTLRIE, Ga. (WTXL) — Moultrie's Piggly Wiggly is donating hundreds of face masks to workers at Colquitt Regional.

The manager of the grocery store says they anticipate getting more masks that they will give to the hospital workers.

Colquitt Regional's CEO, Jim Matney, says N95 masks are in high demand right now and his workers need as many as they can get.

"Everybody is talking about the rise of cases in the state of Georgia and the United States," said Matney. "That's exactly what's happening in Colquitt County and the places around us. We have an influx. Today we've got more patients than we ever had and they're predicting April 22 will be the highest number and we're starting to see that looks like it'll come true."

Matney says everyone should be wearing a mask, even if it isn't an N-95 mask.
