TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Healthcare workers are rejoicing after a women who recently gave birth at Capital Regional Medical Center and tested positive for coronavirus has been discharged from the hospital.
Capital Regional tweeted, "We’re are so happy for Kwanza’s recovery and grateful to our colleagues for #CaringDuringCOVID19 #CareLikeFamily #HealthierTomorrows."
The hospital also posted a video of staff cheering and celebrating Kwanza's joyful release.
As of Wednesday, April 8, more than 300,000 people around the world have won the fight against COVID-19.
