LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Talquin Electric Cooperative reports more than 1,000 people are without power in Leon County.
They are reporting that 1,423 customers are being affected by outages in the area. Most of those effected are in the Chaires and Buck Lake areas.
The outages were reported around 8 a.m. Saturday morning.

Around 150 City of Tallahassee Utilities customers living on Raymond Diehl Road also lost power around 7:12 a.m. Saturday, according to the City of Tallahassee's power outage map.
The cause of the outage is unknown but a crew has been sent out to fix it.
