Getting students interested in marching to success, is what brought Congressmen Dr. Neal Dunn to the Capital City on Saturday.

Leon County 8th graders and high schoolers had the chance to learn about all their college military options.

They met with service members from West Point, the Air Force, Coast Guard, Naval academies and more.

Congressmen Dunn says introducing students to these military opportunities as early as possible helps them start preparing for their future.

"And they're all wonderful. These are the top schools in the nation, extremely competitive, and of course they offer a free education. This is a really wonderful opportunity. The happiest thing I get to do in my job is to call up a young man or woman say 'hey, you're in the academy'," said Congressmen Dr. Neal Dunn.

Congressmen Dunn says The Capital City is home to the West Point Society of Tallahassee which helps prepare students for competitive military academies.
