Mayor John Dailey, TMH provide update on coronavirus response

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Thursday, Tallahassee mayor John Dailey joined by officials from Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare gave an update on their COVID-19 response after three cases were reported in Leon County overnight.

During the presser, Mayor Dailey said the city is "laser-focused" on taking safety precautions to protect the city including sterilizing city buses and limiting passengers to 15 at a time.

He also said that the city won't turn off anyone's utilities and will work with you on a payment plan.

"We will not shut off anyone's utilities during this time in the community," said Dailey. "We will work with anybody and everybody. Our job is to keep the electricity, water, and the natural gas on."
