MARIANNA, Fla. — The Marianna Police Department will be conducting a Safety and Sobriety checkpoint this Friday.
MPD said as part of their proactive efforts to reduce traffic crashes and fatalities while drivers are intoxicated, they will be conducting a Safety and Sobriety checkpoint on Friday between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.
The checkpoint will be conducted on Penn Avenue south of South Street. This is part of the Marianna Police Department’s “Operation Sober City” initiative.
