One of three 'armed and dangerous' suspects surrenders to Marianna police

One of three suspects wanted in connection to a house shooting in Marianna has turned himself in.

Marianna police say 25-year-old Calvin Henry Peterson turned himself in on Thursday.

MPD says the two other suspects Michael James and Donald Sparks are still at large and are still considered armed and dangerous.

If you know where they are, you are asked to contact the police department at 850-526-3125 or Chipola Crimestoppers at 850-526-5000.

If you spot them, DO NOT approach them. Instead, call 911 or your local law enforcement agency.


Marianna Police are asking people to be on the lookout for three men suspected in a shooting.

The Marianna Police Department says they are searching for Calvin Peterson, Michael James and Donald Sparks, Jr.

Peterson and James have warrants out for their arrest for shooting into an occupied home. Sparks Jr. also has numerous warrants out for his arrest related to possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and a host of other crimes.

MPD says all three men should be considered armed and dangerous.
