LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A manhunt is underway in Liberty County for a man accused of assaulting a female victim Tuesday morning.
The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Joshua Adkins in the area of Burlington Road.
LCSO received a call Tuesday morning reporting Adkins was battering a female victim. Prior to deputies arriving, Adkins fled into the area north of Burlington Road.
He is believed to be in the area between Burlington Road, State Road 65, and County Road 67A.
Deputies and the K-9 units are actively searching the area at this time.
