'Armed and dangerous' suspect arrested in Bainbridge

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) — Bainbridge Public Safety says they have arrested a man wanted in connection to an armed robbery at the Family Dollar in Camilla.

Travis D. Donaldson, aka “Buddu," was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon, just before 1 p.m.

BPS officers found him at a home on Japonica Drive.


Authorities in Bainbridge are looking for an armed and dangerous man suspected in an armed robbery at the Family Dollar in Camilla.

Bainbridge Public Safety is searching for Travis D. Donaldson, aka “Buddu," who was last seen Tuesday morning in Bainbridge near Briarwood Apartments on Palmetto Street.

He is being sought for armed robbery and other pending felony charges in connection to a robbery that happened Monday night around 9 p.m. at a Family Dollar in Camilla.

Donaldson is described as being 180 to 200 pounds, 5'6" tall, and is 34 years old. He has shaved his head since the photos above were taken, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, jean shorts, and red shoes.

Donaldson was just released from Georgia Department of Corrections in November 2019 after serving a 10-year sentence for the armed robbery of three deacons behind Camilla First Baptist Church on a Sunday night in 2009.

If you see Donaldson, do not approach him. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
