CHIPLEY, Fla. (WTXL) — The hit-and-run driver accused of killing three linemen who were restoring power to Hurricane Michael victims will be spending the rest of his life in jail.
John Goedtke was sentenced to four life sentences in a Washington County Courthouse Monday morning.
The County Clerk's office says three are for DUI Manslaughter and one is for leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in death.
Goedtke is accused of hitting the three linemen on State Road 77 in October of last year.
The linemen, 22-year-old Ryan Barrett, 52-year-old George Cesil and 61-year-old James "Bo" Ussery, were working to restore power after Hurricane Michael.
