Man found with drugs, gun after fleeing from traffic stop in Live Oak

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) — A man was arrested after he was found with a large amount of drugs and a gun when he fled from a traffic stop.

Thomas Sperry was arrested by the Live Oak Police Department on Monday.

According to Live Oak PD, Sperry fled on foot from a traffic stop, but was quickly apprehended.

A felony amount of cannabis, methamphetamine, cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a gun were seized as a result of the traffic stop and arrest.

The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in the search.
