TIFT COUNTY, Fla.(WTXL) — Georgia authorities are investigating after a 49-year-old man was found dead on Sunday in Tift County.
According to the Tift County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a deceased person in the 100 block of Ty Ty Sycamore Road.
Upon arrival, responding deputies found the body of 49-year-old Dexter Bernard Patterson.
Patterson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say an autopsy will be performed on Patterson at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon.
