LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - — One person is dead after crash in Leon County early Sunday morning.
State patrol said 71-year-old Patricia Hughes was driving on Highway 27 around one in the morning. At the same time, Michael Smith was going southbound. Troopers said Hughes swerved into his lane, side-swiping Smith. Authorities said the impact threw him out of the car, killing him.
Troopers are still trying to figure out if alcohol was a factor.
