SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Deputies say a man is facing charges after he was caught on camera viciously beating a dog in Suwannee County.
The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office said that a video of a man brutally beating a dog was posted on Facebook over the weekend.
On Monday, deputies arrested Dalton Lee Fioravanti, 24, from Live Oak in connection with the video. He is being charged with felony cruelty to animals.
Deputies say the beaten dog has been in the care of Suwannee County's Animal Services Division for over a week and was just adopted to a loving home.
President Donald Trump recently signed the PACT Act into law, making animal cruelty a felony.
