A man has been arrested after deputies say he repeatedly molested a 4-year-old child in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received iformation of an alleged sexual abuse involving a 4-year old child, by a 57-year-old man on July 11.
During the investigation, deputies learned that Wiley had inappropriately touched the 4-year-old child and also made the child watch adult porn with him.
Investigators also learned this was not an isolated incident and that Wiley began touching the child in 2019 and continued until May 2020.
Authorities were able to confirm that Wiley had touched the child on more than one occasion and sought to seek an arrest warrant.
On July 17, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Gary John Wiley for lewd and lascivious molestation.
Based on the evidence, Wiley was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility on Tuesday.
