TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A Tallahassee man was arrested after deputies found him in possession of a loaded semi-automatic gun during a traffic stop.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a bicycle for an infraction on Friday.
Deputies made contact with the suspect who was identified as Quindarious Flemming.
LCSO said Flemming was carrying a backpack and gave deputies permission to search it.
During the search, deputies found a loaded Sig Sauer .40 caliber semi-auto gun and brass knuckles.
When the firearm was located, deputies say Flemming immediately left the scene of his bike.
LCSO says a perimeter was established and Air-1 responded to assist with locating Flemming.
Surveillance caught Flemming jumping off the bike and running into the woods near Pasco Street.
LCSO K-9 deputies then initiated a track into the woods.
K-9 deputies were able to track down Flemming and he was immediately arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.
Flemming is being charged with carrying a concealed firearm and fleeing and eluding.
