TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Maclay School has some new, state of the art classrooms and they're made from shipping containers.

There are three labs and each has a different area of study.

One is biomedical and science research, another is art, inspiration and design, and the third is computer science, robotics, and engineering.

The three labs and their shared courtyard, together make up the Beck Family Research Center. It's all part of the school's i-THINK initiative.

"What we've heard from colleges and universities and hiring managers is we need to graduate students who know how to solve problems, who can communicate," said James Milford, Head of Maclay School. "So we shifted how we have our classrooms, the way we build our curriculum, the way we transition our campus, so we can inspire those students to do that."
