GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. — Gadsden County Sheriff Morris A. Young and members of the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office staff and Gadsden County Restoring Families DJJ grant funded program took participants on a a tour of the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office.

While on the tour the participants had the opportunity to meet with staff and learn about law enforcement.

They also went to the 911 communication center with dispatchers explaining to them the process of making 911 calls.

We spoke to Sergeant Anglie Hightower on the impact it will have on the youth.

"It's very impactful at their age to learn the good side of law enforcement. They are asking a lot of questions which are good, which means they are paying attention," said Hightower.

The participants also got to tour the investigative unit where they got to see the police vehicles inside and out.
