TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Residents in Tallahassee experienced power outages during the storm and one homeowner told us he has been waiting for hours so that someone could tend to powerlines that fell by his house.

Around 10:15 a.m. Friday, a powerline fell into yard of Roger Christian's home..

Christian then picked up the phone right away and called Tallahassee Utilities. They said they would have someone out when storm cleared in an hour.

After no one showed up, he called back at 11:20 a.m. and they said they had him on emergency list after 3:00 p.m., but still no one arrived.

"I want them to come out and fix it. You know how safe it is to be in my yard? I can't let my dogs out to use the restroom, I don't want my dog electrocuted. This could be a potential serious problem," said Christian.

As of now, he says that no one from the city has come out to his home to check on the powerlines.

Christian adds that he doesn't know whether or not if the powerlines are live or not.
