Liberty County K-9 team helps reunite missing 4-year-old boy with family

LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Liberty County Sheriff's Office said their K-9 team helped them find a missing 4-year-old boy in one hour.

LCSO received a 911 call reporting a missing 4-year-old boy old boy off of Old Burnt Bridge Road on Saturday morning.

Deputies along with FWC officers responded to the area and began searching for the child.

In addition, the Liberty CI K-9 team and Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office helicopter began responding to assist with the search.

Deputies say approximately one hour after the initial 911 call, the boy was located off Podge Road and reunited with his family.
