LEON COUNTY, Fla. — The Leon County Canvassing Board wants you to come out to see an audit of the House District 7 Special General Election.
All elections are required to be audited.
Leon County uses the highest standard, which looks at the results in all of the races in at least 20 percent of the precincts.
The county also performs a 100 percent post election audit, which re-tabulates every vote in every race on all of the ballots.
That's to ensure accuracy of the results for all elections.
"We are going to be doing our post election audit this Wednesday," said Mark Earley, Leon County Supervisor of Elections.
The post-election audit will be this Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Leon County Elections Center.
