Astoria Park Elementary School students were removed from their building Thursday afternoon due to a possible gas leak, according to Leon County Schools.
LCS said for a brief period, Astoria Park students were removed as firefighters investigated the possible gas leak.
Gas lines have been turned off due to LCS working with the City's gas department and students are now back in class.
LCS said their maintenance department will work with the City to investigate further once school is dismissed.
