TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Starting Thursday, visitors will be required to wear a mask inside any building in Leon County and our libraries are making sure everyone is prepared and has a mask.
All seven Leon County library locations began giving out masks Wednesday.
Leon County Library Director Debra Sears says they’ve had a huge demand Wednesday from people who need masks. They are limiting two masks per person.
“It’s really easy to get to all seven of our library locations and we’re very happy to be your local site for something that’s free and very usable,” said Sears.
“Definitely want to make sure I’m also in compliance," said Claretta Domingos, who received free masks. "And I definitely need multiple masks to make sure they are in places so I’m not in a bind.”
Sears said library employees have been wearing masks since the beginning of reopening.
Libraries are currently allowed to hold 50 percent capacity.
