TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Humane Society is making sure no pets go hungry by providing pet food assistance to those in need.
The Community Pet Food Pantry is supported by local donors with the goal of keeping companion animals with their families and out of crowded shelters and rescue groups.
Like many businesses at this time, the Leon County Humane Society office is closed to the public; however, their animal program and the Community Pet Food Pantry is still functioning.
Individuals in need of pet food can call their office at (850) 224-9193 to request a scheduled pick up of cat and/or dog food.
They can also deliver pet food if transportation is an issue.
