UPDATE (JAN. 7):
The Leon County Sheriff's Office says the victim is 15 years old and still in the hospital.
At this point, no arrests have been made.
EARLIER:
Leon County deputies say a person was shot near the Ridge Haven area Tuesday.
The Sheriff's Office posted about the attack on Facebook at around 6:00 p.m.
A follow-up post said the victim was a boy. It also said the shooting happened outside of the Wilson Green neighborhood, and the suspect then moved to the Ridge Haven area.
The sheriff's office says the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The post from LCSO says deputies have not arrested a suspect in this case but they are "actively searching."
An LCSO spokesperson believes the victim made the 911 phone call following the shooting.
They say they will share updates as they learn more.
