LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Two men have been arrested in connection to the shooting that left one dead and another injured on Autumn Lane earlier this month.

Deputies with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident in the 2000 block of Autumn Lane in southwestern Leon County April 10.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered 20-year-old Kendrick Bostic, and another victim, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to a local hospital where Bostic later succumbed to his injuries. The other victim was released.

During the initial investigation, detectives with the LCSO Violent Crimes and Crime Scene units determined several shots were fired from the road in front of a home, fatally striking Bostic and injuring the other victim.

Detectives also learned those shots were fired by two black males transported in a silver Jeep SUV.

Deputies located the Jeep, and its owner and identified it as the vehicle used in the shooting.

Later during the investigation, detectives found that the two shooting suspects, 27-year-old Marquise Owens and 36-year-old Andrew Watson, were picked up in the Jeep, and traveled to Autumn Lane at the time of the shooting.

Both Owens and Watson were outside the Jeep, in the street, when shots were fired towards a residence on Autumn Lane, fatally wounding Bostic and injuring another.

Detectives determined the shooting was not random and is believed to be an isolated incident.

Owens and Watson were arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.

They both are facing several charges including premeditated homicide, firing a weapon inside a vehicle or building, and possession of a weapon.
