LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Two meth traffickers and a man wanted in connection to a shooting have all been arrested thanks to LCSO's SPIDER UNIT.

On Wednesday around 3 p.m., the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Special Projects Investigations Detection Enforcement Response (S.P.I.D.E.R.) Unit conducted a traffic stop on Capital Circle N.W. near I-10 for a moving violation.

Deputies found the driver of the vehicle, John O’Callaghan, did not have a valid driver’s license. An LCSO K9 deputy responded to the traffic stop and his K9 partner gave a positive alert to illegal narcotics after sniffing around the car.

Inside the vehicle deputies found about five ounces of methamphetamine, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia.

O’Callaghan and his passenger, Brenda Ward, were both arrested and taken to the Leon County Detention Facility. Both have been charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

Later that day, around 8:30 p.m. the S.P.I.D.E.R. Unit located and arrested Da’Quan D. Pittman, wanted out of St. Lucie County for numerous warrants, in the 2000 block of Continental Avenue.

Pittman warrants included three counts of attempted second degree murder.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office Real Time Crime Center helped the S.P.I.D.E.R. unit with both of these cases.
