LEON COUNTY, Fla. — It was an emotional morning for deputies in Leon County.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office took a moment to remember their fallen brothers and sisters in uniform.
The special wreath laying ceremony honored those who gave their lives in the service to the county.
"I think it reinforces that we are a family, they are apart of our family, and by bringing them back every year around this time it rekindles in us the fact that they are still there and need our assistance," said Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil.
In all, three fallen deputies were honored Wednesday morning.
