LEON COUNTY, Fla. — The Leon County Sheriff's Office joined the community Wednesday morning to enjoy a cup of coffee.

There was no agenda or speeches given, just some good conversation.

People in Leon County got a chance to sit down ask questions and voice concerns with deputies. Neighbors from the community were able to join the conversation at Country Kitchen and Goodies Eatery.

Luann Henderson, owner of Country Kitchen, says her restaurant was the perfect location, since our police force have her full support.

"I think it is a fabulous idea, I'm so happy that they are here, because I am so pro officers anyway, and I love the idea," said Henderson. "I think it will be good for the community, and good for the customers that are coming in here."

The Tallahassee Police Department was also in attendance. It's all part of a national effort for community policing week.
