LEON COUNTY, Fla.(WTXL) — Leon County Schools has announced that all summer camps will be closed until further notice.
Superintendent Rocky Hanna made the announcement on Thursday morning in a video posted on Twitter.
The post read, "We are hopeful that there may be changes in the future, but unfortunately we do not see a path towards having them open right now. We will provide updates soon."
If things change in the near future, Hanna stated that LCS will plan to open summer camps.
Hanna also said that over the past few days, LCS has been in the process of finalizing plans for the drive-in graduation scheduled for the end of May.
Parents are encouraged to for updates regarding graduation and the opening of summer camps.
