JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — If you're in Jefferson County be on the lookout for sandbags.
In preparation for the cyclone, Jefferson County has three sandbag locations that will be open all day Friday.
Locations include the Old Fire Department in Monticello, the old Post Office in Wacissa and between the Volunteer Fire Department and post office in Lloyd.
The sand was dumped at those sites Thursday evening.
The sandbags are only for people who live in Jefferson County.
Bags will be provided for the sand by the County Road Department.
Emergency Management asks that everyone brings their own shovel.
The county has a 10 bag limit for all sandbags.
