MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL) — Residents of Jefferson County don't have to worry about masks.

During a virtual meeting on Thursday night, the motion for a mask mandate from the Jefferson County Commission died without a second motion.

There was also a Citizens Request to discuss the removal of the Civil War Monument on the Courthouse Square, which the Commission voted to keep.
