JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. — The Jackson County School Board announced Thursday all school supplies for students in the district will be provided for free.

Superintendent Larry Moore said the school district received donations and money after Hurricane Michael and recently received a $50,000 grant from Save the Children.

Moore said he made this decision hoping to help families financially after Hurricane Michael.

Schools will give families information on the way supplies will be dispersed closer to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
