Jackson County equipping school buses with WiFi to help students with no internet

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla.(WTXL) — Jackson County School District will be equipping their school buses with WiFi to provide internet hotspots throughout the county for students with limited or no internet access.

The school district made the announcement Wednesday night on on their Facebook page.

This service will allow students to download, upload or work on assignments from teachers.

The WiFi buses will be located at various locations around Jackson County.

The school district says students are reminded to follow all online safety procedures as outlined in the Acceptable Use Policy they signed at school.

Distance learning will be a key component of instructional delivery until the end of the school year on May 27.

Below is the schedule that will be in use starting Monday, April 27. This scheduled will be repeated each week.
