LCSO: Leon County deputy's home shot at multiple times, no injuries reported

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff's office is investigating after someone shot up a fellow deputy's house and cars while he and his family were at home.

On Tuesday around 10 p.m., LCSO said the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a residential area in the 3100 block of Huntington Woods Boulevard after gunshots rang out in the area.

While there, officers determined a Leon County Sheriff’s Office deputy’s house, patrol vehicle, and personal vehicle had been shot several times.

The deputy and his family were home at the time of the incident. Thankfully, deputies said no one was injured.

After conducting the initial investigation, TPD turned the investigation over to the LCSO Violent Crimes unit.

The shooting is still under investigation.
